But soon we should have everything you need available in the shed. and plenty of other techie chat. Parts being 3d printed to modify my other Delt

Techie Shed Thur 20th April 3 till 6
Last weeks Techie session Was busy with new members popping along to see what was going on. Bit of soldering to help a member improve his soldering. Some CAD work done to produce a custom project box. Demo of a 3d printed peristaltic pump and a lot of diverse chat amongst the members. Im having trouble keeping track of what everyone was up to as the session gets busier. This picture is from a previous session Anthony fault finding an amplifier and Bryan soldering. This week,

Techie Shed 3D Printing Thur 23 February 3 till 6
Last weeks Techie session We fitted the new bulb to the projector but discovered more problems. So its going to be looked at during one of the Thursday sessions.
I showed anyone who was interested the accelerometer Ive added to my door knocker bell and the nifty features that make it much more accurate than the previous piezo sensor. Techie Shed Thur 16 February 3 till 6
Last weeks Techie session Bit of a quite session last week. Just the two of us.
BBC Microbit breakout board soldered and ready to use. The new soldering iron worked a treat once I had the temperature right. Unleaded solder is very temperature sensitive and needs plenty of flux. The magnifying lamp helps with these tiny headers. This week, Thur 16 February 3 till 6 I will bring along some micro controllers and components as usual. There are Arduino, ESP8266 wifi modules, Sens

Techie Shed Thur 9 February 3 till 6
Last weeks Techie session We did a little more CAD and Arduino. Talked about communications in a group like the Men's shed between members and keepig everyone in touch. Jay bought along his hacked music player with some fine soldering to access the system. This week, Thur 9 February 3 till 6 I will bring along some micro controllers and components as usual. There are Arduino, ESP8266 wifi modules, Sensors and components for you to see and try. Ive added an Arduino Uno and kit

Last weeks Techie session I bought along my Reprap Prusa I3 3d Printer and we did a little CAD. The picture shows the printer and a couple of members laptops being used for CAD and preparing files for printing. This week, Thur 2 February 3 till 6 I will bring along some micro controllers and components as usual. There are Arduino, ESP8266 wifi modules, Sensors and components for you to see and try. I hope to have made a bit more progress with my door knocker bell by adding a

Techie Shed Thur 26th January 3 till 6
Last weeks Techie session We did a little bit of Computer aided design. I showed my quick prototype of a door knocker door bell and discussed micro controllers and what they can do with a new member of the group. This week, Thur 26th January 3 till 6 I will bring along some micro controllers and components as usual. Ill also bring along my Prusa I2 3d printer and materials. Yes that's my home office in its tidier state in the picture above. If there is anything in particular
