Techie Shed Thur 20th April 3 till 6
Last weeks Techie session
Was busy with new members popping along to see what was going on. Bit of soldering to help a member improve his soldering. Some CAD work done to produce a custom project box. Demo of a 3d printed peristaltic pump and a lot of diverse chat amongst the members. Im having trouble keeping track of what everyone was up to as the session gets busier.

This week, Thur 20 April 3 till 6
Were helping Bryan out with a troublesome Linux install on an older PC.
There will be plenty of advice available Im sure.
A number of the members are working on projects involving Raspberry Pi's with video cameras. From custom Wifi CCTV to OpenCV and optical character recognition.
I will bring along some micro controllers and components as usual. There are Arduino, ESP8266 wifi modules, Sensors and components for you to see and try. Ive added an Arduino Uno and kit of components so members can try it out and work through the tutorials and examples on the Arduino website. A PC or laptop is needed to program the Arduino so please bring along a laptop if you would like to have a go. If you havnt got a Laptop let me know and I will see what I can arrange.
