Techie Shed 3d Printing Thur 27 April 3 till 6

Last weeks Techie session

Another busy session we now have a core group of regulars. The soldering station I donated has been diagnosed with a broken heater in the iron. A spare part has been ordered and will be fitted shortly. A couple of members started there shopping lists for putting together a comprehensive home soldering kit. But soon we should have everything you need available in the shed. and plenty of other techie chat.

Parts being 3d printed to modify my

other Delta 3d printer.

This week, Thur 27 April 3 till 6

As the last Thursday of the month we will have a 3d printer being used in the session. A few members are at the moment having parts designed and 3d printed for them. Micheal needs a steering part, for a remote control car, replaced with a 3d printed part as it not available as a spare from the manufacturer. Jay wants the parts printed for a pan and tilt mechanism for a raspberry pi project he is working on. Bryan has a 3d printed battery box for one of his projects. I have been designing and printing upgrades for my Delta 3d printer and will have them to show during the session.

There will be other things happening that may include the repair of the soldering station and possibly that Linux install that was put off from last week.

If there is anything in particular you are interested in or you've got something you would like to contribute or demonstrate during the session, please let us know on the slack forum.

You can access the forum through the Shed website under the forum link. http:/trowbridgemensshed.co.uk/register-for-forum

Everyone is welcome. All levels of experience from the curious to beginners to experts.
